Headlamp Washer Spray Nozzle: Service and Repair

Headlamp Washer System Spray Nozzles

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hose Clamp Pliers (V.A.G 1275)

Removing

-

Remove front bumper cover. See: Body and Frame/Bumper

‹› Protect bumper cover by laying rag underneath and secure nozzle using pliers.

-

Pull spray nozzle telescope out of bumper cover as far as stop. 

‹› Hold telescope in extended position with pliers - 4 -. 

-

Spread side walls on cover - 1 - for spray jet -  arrows - and carefully disengage cover side walls from retaining pins -  2 and 3 -.

-

Remove fluid hose - 4 - from spray nozzle -  1 -.

-

Remove bolts - 2 and 3 - and remove spray jet.

Installing
