Loosen clamping screw - 2 - and pull out adjuster stop slightly.

Close tailgate - 4 - and move to flush position; tailgate lock should engage in second stop in striker.

-

Now set adjuster stops - 3 - in correct position.

Open tailgate and pull out adjuster stop by one notch.

-

Tighten clamping screw - 2 - to 2 Nm.

-

To remove adjuster stop, drill out head from pop rivet - 1 - and knock shank out. Now take out adjuster stop.

Close tailgate.

-

Check panel gaps as shown.

Rear lid lock removed.

-

Turn cable in support bracket 90 degrees and take out upward.

-

Swivel cable 90 degrees and take out of tailgate lock.
