Notes:  The engine and transmission will move forward slightly when the bolts - A - are loosened (Fig. N34-087, Refer to Drive/Propeller Shaft.
Take care not to damage seal (arrow) in driveshaft flange when removing and installing.

Unbolt pendulum support from subframe (arrows - A -).

Press engine/transmission forward carefully.

Unbolt flexible coupling from flange on bevel box (arrows). 

-

Now carefully remove flexible coupling.

Installing 
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, when doing this note the following:

All parts of the driveshaft marked must be reinstalled in the same positions in relation to each other.

First insert driveshaft bolts into flexible coupling, then bolt flexible coupling onto bevel box.

Installation position:

The open side of the heat shield should be toward the bevel box.

^

Three projecting sleeves on the transmission flange and driveshaft flange engage in the mounting holes in the flexible coupling.
