Wheels: Service and Repair

Wheels, balancing on vehicle 

Always deactivate the traction control system (ASR) before balancing the wheels.

Notes: 
-

Incorrectly balanced wheels cause steering wheel vibration and shuddering at the front of the vehicle.

Position vehicle on the sensor platforms (front axle only for front wheel drive, both axles for all wheel drive) in order to carry out wheel balancing.

Observe manufacturer's instructions for operating wheel balancing equipment.
