Now remove all the securing nuts for the drive pinion housing (arrows). 

Notes:  The illustration only shows 3 of the nuts.

Remove drive pinion housing, when doing this screw hexagon bolts - A - in evenly so that the housing does not cant.

Then remove O - ring - A -.

Installing 

Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence, when doing this note the following:
-

Lubricate O - ring - A - with transmission oil and install.

-

Insert shim(s) - B - of same thickness again.
