If the Linking/Updating display persists with a known working satellite tuner Check the wiring harness between the satellite tuner and the satellite 
antenna for damages and proper fit of the connectors. Repair as necessary to resolve the problem.

6.

If no damage can be found with the wiring; run an overlay wire between satellite antenna and satellite tuner.

7.

If the fault persists; replace the satellite antenna.
