Condition
Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS) tuner, Sirius or XM, is not activated.

No DTC's stored in satellite tuner or satellite-related DTC's in the radio / head unit. Exception: DTC 02635 in Satellite Tuner - this does NOT
indicate a defective part and is a normal condition of a non-activated tuner.

Satellite audio may not be available, even for Preview channel (Sirius).
^
Satellite station list may not available and only an advisory message is seen in the MMI / radio display (sample image shown).
Technical Background
SIRIUS: If the satellite tuner was deactivated by Sirius or the dealer demo mode has expired a condition will exist where there is no audio, Preview
Channel or station list available.
XM: At least 1 (Preview) channel with audio should always be available, regardless of activation history.
