Spoiler, Installing

NOTES:

-

Prior to beginning procedure, remove center pin from spoiler and screw in center bolt.

-

Follow correct sequence for tightening nuts when securing spoiler,

-

Place spoiler - 2 - into fixture up against upper locators - 1 -.

-

Slide spoiler - 2 - forward in direction of arrow - a -, keeping in contact with locators at ends of fixture - 1 -.

CAUTION:  During procedure, spoiler must be set against locating block.

-

Slide spoiler downward onto lid in direction off arrow - b -.

-

Hold spoiler in position, open hatch and check position of studs through holes

-

Remove spoiler and set aside.

Tightening sequence for nut

-

A second person is required to hold spoiler in correct position, while another screws lock nuts onto outer studs of spoiler, tightening only to hold
spoiler in position.

-

Apply small amount of thread lock compound to middle studs to secure nuts.
