Brake Pedal, Removing and Installing 

Removing 

-

Remove storage compartment on drivers side.

-

Unscrew bolts -1-.

-

Remove cover -A-.

-

Remove brake light switch (square housing).

-

Remove brake light switch (round housing).

-

Remove connecting plate between clutch pedal and brake pedal - arrows - on vehicles with manual transmission.

-

Unplug 6-pin connector on accelerator pedal module.

-

Separate brake pedal from brake booster.

-

Remove hex nut - -and detach brake pedal.

Installing

Install in reverse sequence; note the following points:

Before installing, grease all bearings with polycarbamide grease, G 052 142 A2.
