Insert Releasing tool T10006 as shown and pull toward drivers seat while providing support at brake pedal -1- (pedal must not be allowed to move
to rear at this point). This presses retainer tabs -3- off ball head.

Pull both Releasing tool T10006 and brake pedal toward drivers seat (this pulls brake pedal off push rod ball head.

Note:

For ease of illustration, Fig. shows separation of brake pedal from brake booster with pedal cluster removed.

Installing

Install in reverse sequence; note the following points:

-

Hold push rod ball head in front of mounting and push brake pedal in direction of brake booster, so that the ball head audibly locates.

Install brake light switch (square housing).

Install brake light switch (round housing).
