Take out protective seal using Removing wedge VAS 3409.

Use Removing wedge VAS 3409 to remove seal.
Note:

Make sure that the surface of the cylinder is not damaged, when removing.
Installing

The surface of the piston and seal must be cleaned with methylated spirits only, and then dried.

Thinly coat piston and seal with assembly paste G 052 150 A2 before inserting.

Insert seal in brake caliper housing.
-
Position outer sealing lip of protective seal on piston.
