Pay attention to camshaft identification located between cam pairs for cylinder No. 4 and 5.

A - Exhaust camshaft; identification 022 - index 101

B - Intake camshaft; identification 022 - index 102

Insert camshafts into cylinder head so that they are located at TDC for cylinder 1.

It must be possible to insert camshaft plate T10068 in both camshaft grooves.

Note installed position of bearing caps:

Pointed section -A- of bearing caps for intake and exhaust camshafts faces outward.

Identification markings for bearing caps are legible from intake side.
