Engine Torque Strut: Service and Repair

Pendulum support, removing and installing, 02E, 6 Speed Direct Shift A/T, AWD 

Removing 

-

Raise vehicle.

-

Remove center sound insulation tray fasteners - 1... 3 -.

-

First remove bolts - arrows A - and then bolts - arrows B - on pendulum support.

-

Remove pendulum support.

Installing 

Perform installation in reverse sequence of removal. Note the following:

Attaching pendulum support
-

Using new bolts, first secure pendulum support to transmission - arrows B -, then on subframe - arrows A -.
