Muffler: Service and Repair
Center And Rear Muffler, Separating

A separating point has been provided in the separating pipe for individual replacement of the center or rear muffler.

Separating point is marked by a depression around the circumference of the exhaust pipe.

Cutting chain VAS 6524

Protective glasses
Work sequence
WARNING: Wear protective glasses.

Using VAS 6524, cut exhaust pipe at separating point (arrow) at right angle.
-
When installing, center clamp -1- on separation point.
