Poly V-Belt, Removing and Installing

Poly V-belt, removing and installing 

Removing 

-

Remove screw -1- and remove cover over coolant expansion tank (arrow).

Note:

Before removing, mark the direction of rotation of the poly V-belt with chalk or a felt-tipped pen. If the belt runs in the opposite direction when it
is reinstalled, this can cause breakage. Ensure that the belt is properly seated in the pulleys when installing.

To release tension of poly V-belt, screw an M8 x 40 bolt (arrow) into bore on tensioning element.

Remove poly V-belt from Generator pulley.

-

Remove fasteners -1... 3- and center sound insulation.
