Detach coupling rod from suspension strut on both sides of vehicle.

-

Pull spring clip out from bracket and detach brake hose.

-

Detach wire for speed sensor from suspension strut.

-

Remove brake caliper from wheel bearing housing.

-

Secure brake caliper to body with wire.

-

Detach brake disc (disc is secured to hub with phillips-head bolt).

-

Remove brake disc splash plate.

-

Mark positions of nuts.

-

Remove bottom nuts from ball joint.

-

Remove control arm from ball joint.

-

If ball joint has to be removed, refer to Ball joint, removing and installing.
