Fuel Filler Hose: Service and Repair

Fuel Filler Tube, Component Overview

Pressure retention valve

Clipped to fuel filler unit

Closes vent line when vacuum from intake manifold is present

Only remove together with vent line and gravity valve

To remove, unclip valve upward and lift out.

Installed position/check requirements => Fig. 3

Ensure secure fit of connector at metal ring of fuel filler unit

Securely tighten eyelet of electrical wire with cap nut => item -8-.

-

After installing, check electrical connection of metal ring at fuel filler tube to a blank portion of chassis using multimeter: Specified value:
approx. 0 Ohm
