Installing
NOTE: Always replace screw - 4 -.

Position side-airbag unit - 2 - so locking pins - 3 - engage in holes - 7 -.

Push side-airbag unit up as far as it will go.

Tighten newly replaced screw - 4 - on side-airbag unit to 10 Nm.

Route airbag cable - 5 - so that it is seated correctly in the clips and routed according to illustrations.

Remainder of installation is carried out in reverse order of removal.

Switch ignition on.
CAUTION: Make sure no one is in vehicle when connecting battery.

Connect battery Ground (GND) strap.

NOTE:

After connecting battery, check vehicle equipment (radio, clock electric windows) as per Owners Manual.

If the Airbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) K75 signals a malfunction after assembling, then DTC memory must be erased and
checked again using vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051 A scan tool.
