ESP Sensor Unit, Removing and Installing

ESP Sensor Unit, Removing and Installing 

Removing 

-

Remove storage compartment on drivers side.

-

Remove bolts (arrows).

-

Pull ESP sensor unit -1- in direction of travel and out of holder.

-

Unplug electrical connector -2-.

Note:

The ESP sensor unit is not resistant to shocks or impact.

Do not install an ESP sensor which has dropped to the ground otherwise proper operation is not ensured.

Installing 

Install in reverse sequence; note the following points:

-

Initiate basic setting for the sensors in the ESP sensor unit.

Perform ESP road test. See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Description and Operation/General
