Contact assignment of 47-pin connector on ABS Control Module (w/EDL)

Using a suitable ejector tool from wiring repair kit VAS 1978, push out

^

Unplug brake wear indicator connector -1- on left brake. 

^

Unclip wiring from bracket -2-. 

^

Release connector on wheel speed sensor and disconnect wiring. 

^

Remove defective wiring for wheel speed sensor.

Installing
Install in reverse sequence; note the following points:

Install new wheel speed sensor wiring.

^

Clip in speed sensor wiring (arrows).

Note: Make sure sensor wire is not twisted in wheel housing.

^

Guide contacts into connector housing.
