Torque wrench V.A.G 1331

Engine not running.
CAUTION! Do not run the engine or tow the vehicle with the oil pan removed or when there is no gear oil in the transmission.

General repair instructions.

Lightly lubricate O-rings and seals with gear oil. Other types of lubricant will cause the transmission hydraulics to malfunction.
Removing
CAUTION! Follow steps required when disconnecting battery.
Note: The battery is located in the rear compartment, in the spare wheel well.

Disconnect ground strap on battery (in rear compartment) with ignition switched off.

Remove oil pan.

Remove Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Mechatronic -J743-.
