Tie Rod Ends, Removing and Installing
Tie rod ends, removing and installing
Removing

Loosen nut on track rod end.
Note: Leave nut screwed several turns onto tie rod end to protect thread.

Remove tie rods from steering arms using puller Kukko 129/0.

Counterhold tie rod end - A - with a 24 mm spanner when loosening and tightening lock nut - B -.

Loosen lock nut - B -.

Remove nut from tie rod end
-
Remove tie rod end.
Installing

Installation is carried out in reverse sequence.
-
Tighten lock nut - B - to 50 Nm.
Make sure that rubber boots are not twisted.
