Installation position of upper and lower halves of subframe bushing 

A - Upper half of bushing without collar, ribs faces body.
B - Lower half of bushing, collar faces bolt head

Installation position of subframe cross piece 

Cross piece is not installed on all vehicles.

Subframe

Pop rivet nut, M10

Insert using V.A.G 1765B.

3 - 

Cross piece

-

Install with marking "L" or "links" on left as seen facing in direction of travel.

Foam strip faces downward - arrow -.

4 - 

Hex bolt, M10x45

-

Use new bolts after disassembling.

-

Use locking fluid D 000 600 A2 when installing.

-

Tightening torque: 30 Nm plus an additional 90° (1/4 turn)
