Subframe, removing and installing 

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required 

^

Engine/transmission jack V.A.G 1383A with universal mount V.A.G 1359/2

^

Torque wrench V.A.G 1332, measuring range 40 to 200 Nm

Removing 

-

Remove wheels.

-

Remove noise insulation panel.

-

If necessary, detach bracket for hydraulic line at subframe (left-side). Tightening torque: 3.5 Nm.

If installed, detach headlight range control linkage on left side of inner transverse link Vehicle level sensor in vehicles with automatic headlight
range control.
