Note:

In order to achieve the quietest possible running, only the entire drive shaft is balanced during manufacturing. It is not possible to balance the
entire drive shaft or the individual drive shaft tubes with shop equipment. Therefore, the entire drive shaft must always be replaced when front or
rear drive shaft tubes are damaged.

Do not kink drive shaft, only store and move when fully extended.

Before removing, mark the positions of all parts in relation to each other. Re-install in the same position otherwise imbalance will be excessive, the
bearings could be damaged causing rumbling noises.

Manual transmission with bevel gear transfer case

Collar bolt with 12-point nut, 60 Nm

3 - 

Flexible disc with heat shield

Front drive shaft tube

Do not damage centering sleeve and seal when removing and installing in center of flange

Socket head cap bolt, 40 Nm
