Digital Sound System Control Module J525 - Bose, Removing And Installing

The Digital Sound System Control Module J525 is located behind the left luggage compartment side trim between taillights and wheel housing.

-

Turn off all electrical components.

-

Remove ignition key.

Removing

Remove left luggage compartment side trim.

-

Loosen nuts - 1 - and - 3 - on bracket.

The Digital Sound System Control Module J525 - 2 - with bracket is only connected at left rear.

-

Tip Digital Sound System Control Module J525 - 2 - with bracket into luggage compartment.

-

Disconnect electrical connectors - 1 - and - 2 - on Digital Sound System Control Module J525.

-

Remove bolts - 4 - and tip Digital Sound System Control Module J525 out of clamps - 3 -.

Installing

-

Install in reverse order.

-

Ensure Digital Sound System Control Module J525 slides into clamp - 3 - first.
