Remove headlight

Disconnect hood lock cable at coupling => [ Hood Lock Cable Assembly Overview ] See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Hood/Hood Latch Release
Cable/Service and Repair/Hood Lock Cable Assembly Overview.

Remove bolts - 2 - on longmember.

‹›  The impact member is secured to the lock carrier with clamping washers -  1 - and is not removed.

-

Remove bolts - 6 - on fender and bolts -  4 -.

-

Remove lock carrier toward front.

‹› Installing: Reverse order of removal.
