Haldex Clutch Oil, Filling

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Charging Device F/haldex 2 Coup. (VAS 6291)

‹› Drip Tray for VAS 6100 (VAS 6208)

CAUTION!
Different high performance oils for the Haldex clutch

‹› The rear final drives "02D/0AV" and "0BR" have different Haldex clutches with different oils.

‹› Both oils for the Haldex clutch must not be mixed together or interchanged. 

‹› Refer to for the Haldex Clutch Oil part numbers. 

‹› Be sure to note the differences in the rear final drives. Refer to => [ Rear Final Drive Identification ] See: Transmission and

Drivetrain/Rear Final Drive/Application and ID/Rear Final Drive Identification

Test requirement

‹› Vehicle on a flat surface

Place Drip Tray for VAS 6100 (VAS 6208) under final drive.

Vehicles with crossmembers:

-

Cover the crossmember - arrows - with cloths.

‹› If oil gets on the crossmember or enters the perforations in the crossmember, it must be carefully removed.

Continued for all vehicles

Use the Charging Device F/haldex 2 Coup. (VAS 6291) to add oil.

Remove oil filler plug - arrow -. (Shown with final drive removed for the sake of a better illustration).
