‹› The engine is switched off.

Draining Gear Oil

-

Replace transmission oil filter. Refer to => [ Transmission Fluid Filter ] See: Filters/Fluid Filter - A/T/Service and Repair/Transmission Fluid
Filter.

Remove front - 1 - and rear - 2 - noise insulation.

-

Place the used oil collection and extraction device (V.A.G 1782) under the transmission.

Remove inspection plug - A - and remove with seal -  B -.

‹› The collected gear oil then runs out of the overflow tube -  C -.

-

Remove overflow tube and let remaining gear oil drain.

Filling Gear Oil

-

Tighten overflow tube in inspection plug hole.

CAUTION!
Risk of mixing gear oil.

‹› Check whether adapter for oil filling is clean. DSG transmission gear oil must not be mixed with other oils.

Install DSG transmission gear oil container on adapter for oil filling (VAS 6262).
