Removing
-
If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or " Guided
Functions" Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051.

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Remove driver's storage compartment.

Remove the footwell air channel on the driver side.
-
Release retaining springs - arrows - and remove Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) - item 1 - down from base mount - 2 -.

Press connector retaining strips - 1 and 2 - in - direction of arrow -.

Unplug connectors.

Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
