Fuel Level Sensor 1

Removing

Observe safety precautions.
Observe rules for cleanliness.

TT Roadster:

CAUTION:  To remove fuel delivery unit on the TT Roadster, fuel tank must be removed.

Removing fuel tank.

All Vehicles

-

Remove fuel delivery unit.

CAUTION:
Risk of damage.

Before disconnecting electrical connectors on Fuel Level Sensor G, first release connector contact retaining tab.

Disengage electrical connectors - 1 to 3 - and disconnect them.

-

Pry on retaining tabs - 4 - and - 5 - with a screwdriver and pull fuel level sensor G off downward - arrow -.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

-

Insert fuel level sensor G into guides on the fuel delivery unit and push up until it engages.

-

Connect electrical connections and check that they are securely engaged.

-

Install fuel delivery unit, observing notes for connecting battery.
