Vehicle Electrical System Control Module, from 06.2008

Removing

-

If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or " Guided
Functions" Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051.

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Remove the 5-plug relay carrier. Refer to => [ 5 Plug Relay Carrier, from 06.2008 ] See: Power and Ground Distribution/Wiring Harness/Service
and Repair/Removal and Replacement/5 Plug Relay Carrier, from 06.2008.

Disconnect electrical connectors - 2 through 4 -.

To disconnect electrical connector, press catch - 1 -, turn retaining bracket in - direction of arrow - and remove connector.

Release retaining springs - arrows - and remove Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) -  1 - from the base mount.
