Front Passenger Airbag -Off- Key Switch

Removing

CAUTION!
Observe safety precautions for work on airbags. Refer to => [ Airbag System General Safety Precautions ] See: Service Precautions.

Switch off ignition.

-

Disconnect battery ground wire.

Remove glove compartment. Refer to => [ Glove Compartment ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Utility Storage
Compartment/Service and Repair. 

CAUTION!
Before handling airbag units (e.g. disconnecting electrical connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". This can
be done by touching door striker, for example.

Press securing catch - 1 - in - direction of arrow - until connection disengages.

-

Remove electrical connector - 2 -.

-

Release left and right retaining springs - 2 - and -  3 - and slide Front Passenger's Airbag -Off- Key Switch (E224) - 1 - out of key switch housing.
