Removing

-

Disconnect battery ground wire => Electrical Equipment

 27 Removal and Installation.

-

Observe airbag system safety precautions => Body Interior

 69 General Information.

-

Remove driver airbag.

-

Disconnect connector - 1 - on multifunction button -  2 -.

-

Slide multifunction button - 2 - out of steering wheel in - direction of arrow -.

-

Rotate multifunction button.

-

Disconnect harness connector - 2 - to Tiptronic switch at multifunction button - 1 - and remove it.

Installing

-

Install in reverse order.

Removing and installing the left multifunction button is identical.
