Two procedures must be performed, located at positions labeled A and B in Figures 1 and 2.

1.

The wire to the secondary air pump solenoid must be rerouted behind the oil dipstick tube.

a.

Check to see if the wires to the secondary air solenoid have been damaged. If damage is visible, take pictures of the damage and run a
Guided Fault Finding scan. Upload pictures and GFF diagnostic log to a TAC contact under Concern Type: TT Coupe/TT Roadster Launch
Repair Authorization.

b.

Disconnect connector (Figure 5) from the secondary air solenoid.

c.

Reroute the wire down below the secondary air tubes, behind the oil dipstick tube, and back up to the secondary air solenoid, as shown in
Figure 4.

d.

Connect the connector. Listen for an audible click to ensure the connector is connected.
