Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair
Rear Suspension

Stabilizer bar, removing and installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Torque wrench V.A.G 1331

Removing

-

Remove rear wheels.

Remove stone deflector from trailing arm.

Note:

The following work steps are described for left side of vehicle. These work steps apply also to right side of vehicle.

Remove nut -1- and pull coupling rod -2- out of stabilizer bar.

Remove bolts -arrows- for stabilizer bar clip.

-

Remove stabilizer bar.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, with special attention to the following:
