Bonded Rubber Bushing on Rear Final Drive, Replacing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Thrust Piece (VW 554)

‹› Bushing Puller (3128)

‹› Thrust Piece (T40033/1)

‹› Traverse (T10030/5)

‹› Spindle (3346/2)

‹› Nut (3346/3)

‹› Internal Puller (Kukko 21/1)

‹› Counter-Support (Kukko 22/1)

"Upper Rear" Rubber Bonded Bushing, Removing

A Support, for example (Kukko 22/1)
B Internal puller 12 to 16 mm, for example (Kukko 21/1)

A piece must be broken out of rubber bonded bushing collar -  arrow - so that Counter-Support can be attached.

Insert Internal Puller in separating gap between upper and lower rubber bonded bushing and brace it.

"Lower Rear" Rubber Bonded Bushing, Driving Out
