Install oil container - A - onto filler tool (VAS 6291).

Now open valve - arrow - and hold oil container as shown in illustration.

Bevel box is now filled.

‹› When bevel box is filled correctly, oil escapes at adapter -  A -.

Once oil has escaped at adapter - A -, place oil reservoir on a low surface so some of excess oil can flow out of hose back into oil reservoir.

-

If no more oil runs back, remove filler tool ( VAS 6291).

-

Make sure there is still oil in filler tool ( VAS 6291) hose.

-

Install previous oil filler hole plug.

-

Raise vehicle slightly so wheels can turn freely.

-

Start engine, engage a gear and allow transmission to turn for approx. 2 minutes.

-

Switch off engine and remove oil filler hole plug.

-

If necessary, fill again with oil up to lower edge of filler hole. 

-

Insert new oil filler plug - arrow - and tighten.
