Air conditioning (A/C) control knob covers come loose or fall off.

Service

Do not replace the control head for this condition.

1. Obtain a new cover for the affected switch.

Part No.: 8N0 819 681C B98 with "OFF" symbol (B98= color code) (Figure 1, A)

Part No.: 8N0 819 682C B98 with "FAN" symbol (B98= color code) (Figure 1, B)

2. With old cover removed, install new cover as follows:

a. Place cover on top of switch.
