Trunk / Liftgate Latch: Service and Repair
Rear Lid and Rear Lid Latch
Rear Lid And Rear Lid Latch, Removing, Installing And Adjusting

Rear lid
-
Removing:
-
Remove rear lid lining.
-
Disconnect electrical wiring and remove completely from lid.
-
Second person required for removal of lid.
-
Remove gas-filled struts at left and right.
-
Remove the hex-bolts that connect both rear lid hinges to rear lid.
-
Remove rear lid.
-
Installing:
-
Install in reverse order of removal.
