Fig. 3 Installation position of Ground (GND) connection

Route Ground (GND) connection as shown in figure.

Ensure connector -2- of Ground (GND) connection fits securely at metal ring -1- of fuel filler tube.

Disconnect Ground (GND) connection at both retaining clips(arrow).

NOTE:  Depending on construction version, a cable binder may be implemented in place of a clip.

Work sequence

Tighten eyelet of electrical wire -1- at chassis using cap nut -2- (10 Nm).

After installing, check electrical Ground connection using an ohmmeter between metal ring of fuel filler tube and chassis.

Specified value 0 Ohm
