Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair
Front Suspension
Stabilizer bar, removing and installing
Removing

Remove wheels.

Remove noise insulation panel.

Remove left and right side noise insulation on subframe.

If installed, detach headlight range control linkage at left control arm.

Remove stabilizer bar from coupling rod. Tightening torque: 100 Nm. Use new nuts.

Secure tie rod to suspension strut using tensioning straps T10038 (apply straps next to inner rubber boots). This will prevent the steering column
from slipping off from steering gear splines during the next step.

For AWD vehicles and 165 kW engine (code: APX), remove rubber mounting - arrow - at the front exhaust pipe.
Note installation position of rubber mounting for later installation.
