Take out protective seal using wedge 3409.
^
Use wedge 3409 to remove seal.
Note: Make sure that the surface of the cylinder is not damaged, when removing.
Installing
^
The surface of the piston and seal must be cleaned with methylated spirits only, and then dried.
^
Thinly coat piston and seal with assembly paste G 052 150 A2 before inserting.
^
Insert seal in brake caliper housing.
^
Position outer sealing lip of protective seal on piston.
^
Insert the inner sealing lip into the grove in the cylinder, using wedge 3409.
