11. Ground (GND) connection
^
Check for tight fit of connector at metal ring of filler tube.
^
Securely tighten screw eyelet of electrical wire using cap nut item 14 .
^
After installing, check electrical connection of metal ring at fuel filler tube to a blank portion of chassis using multimeter:
^
Specified value: approximately 0 Ohms

Route Ground (GND) connection as shown in figure.
^
Ensure connector -2- of Ground (GND) connection fits securely at metal ring -1- of fuel filler tube.
^
Disconnect Ground (GND) connection at both retaining clips (arrow).
Note: Depending on construction version, a cable binder may be implemented in place of a clip.
Test provision
^
Tighten eyelet of electrical wire -1- at chassis using cap nut -2- (10 Nm).
^
After installing, check electrical Ground connection using an ohmmeter between metal ring of fuel filler tube and chassis.
Specified value 0 Ohms
