Removing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing

-

Remove front interior/reading light, refer to => [ Front Interior Lamp/Reading Lamp ] See: Lighting and Horns/Courtesy Lamp/Service and
Repair/Front Interior Lamp/Reading Lamp.

Carefully pry the diffusion lens - 1 - out of the socket - 2 - - arrow - using the Trim Removal Wedge (3409).

Release the retaining clips - 3 - with a small screwdriver -  arrows - and tilt the Garage Door Opener Control Module (E284) - item 1 - out of the
interior/reading lamp - 2 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

-

Press the interior/reading lamp lens on until it engages.
