Wind Deflector or Wind Deflector Support, Removing and Installing

Wind Deflector Or Wind Deflector Support, Removing And Installing

Removing

-

Remove rear bulkhead cover.

-

Remove left and right linkage removal flaps.

-

Remove front convertible top compartment trim.

Vehicles with wind deflector

-

Disconnect connector on wind deflector motor and unclip electrical wire on deflector.

Vehicles with electrical convertible top

-

Unclip hydraulic lines from wind deflector or deflector support (5 clips).

Procedure for all vehicles

-

Remove bolts - 1 - on both sides of vehicle. Be careful of windows when doing so.

Remove wind deflector - 2 - or support upward.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

-

Insert wind deflector - 2 - or support with locking pins - arrow - (on left and right sides of vehicle) in holes in body.

Ensure window is installed between bolt - 1 - and insulation component - 3 -.
