Front Brake Caliper Piston

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Lithium grease (G 052 150 A2)

‹› Disassembly wedge (3409)

‹› Piston resetting tool (T10145)

‹› Assembly tool (T10146)

‹› Assembly device for protective cap (T10146/2)

Removing

-

Force piston from brake caliper housing using compressed air.

‹› Place a wooden board into the recess of the caliper housing so it is not damaged.

-

Remove seal.

-

Use trim removal wedge (3409) for this. 

‹› When removing, make sure that surface of cylinder is not damaged.
