Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor
‹› Vehicles that draw vacuum for the brakes from the intake manifold and vehicles with mechanical vacuum pumps do not have a brake booster
vacuum sensor (G483).
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
‹› Vehicle diagnostic, test and information system ( VAS 5051 B)
‹› The brake booster vacuum sensor ( G483) does not require calibration after replacing.
‹› The electrical test is described in Guided Fault Finding.
Removing
-
Disconnect electrical connector - 1 - on vacuum sensor - 2 -.
-
Pull back OHBV circlip - 1 - and remove brake booster vacuum sensor ( G483) - 2 - from brake booster.
Installing
Installation is in reverse order of removal.
