Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair
Mass Air Flow Sensor
Removing
-
Separate the electrical connector - 2 - for mass air flow (MAF) sensor (G70).
‹› Ignore arrows.

Remove air guide hose by opening the hose clamp - 1 -.

Remove bolts - arrows -.
-
Carefully pull Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor (G70 ) out of guide at upper section of air filter housing.
Installing
‹› Tightening specifications. Refer to => [ Air Filter Assembly Overview ] See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and
Repair/Air Filter Assembly Overview.
Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following.
For trouble-free function of the Mass Air Flow sensor, it is important to observe the following notes and perform the work procedures exactly.

‹› In the event the air filter element is severely contaminated or completely saturated, dirt particles or moisture may penetrate the MAF sensor and
