Fuel Level Sensor FWD

Removing

Observe safety precautions.
Observe rules for cleanliness.

TT Roadster:

CAUTION:  To remove Fuel Level Sensor G on the TT Roadster, fuel tank must be removed.

Removing fuel tank.

All Vehicles

Remove fuel delivery unit.

Version 1:

CAUTION:
Risk of damage.

-

Before disconnecting electrical connectors on Fuel Level Sensor G, first release connector contact retaining tab.

-

Disengage electrical connectors - 1 to 3 - and disconnect them.

-

Pry on retaining tabs - 4 - and - 5 - with a screwdriver and pull fuel level sensor G off downward - arrow -.

Version 2:

-

Release retaining tabs - arrows - with a screwdriver and pull fuel level sensor G upward and out.
